Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Event Personnel - Ushers, Ticket Takers, Guest Services, Merchandise Sellers

Applications are being accepted, on a casual basis. SaskTel Centre works with Prairieland to fill these positions.

These positions are casual and will include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts (shifts will vary based on the events schedule).  When working selling merchandise, doors, and/or guest services, there may be some outdoor shifts required. Concessions Workers - Prairie Boys Hospitality

Position: Concessions Worker

Department: Food & Beverage | Prairie Boys Hospitality

Reports to: Concessions Supervisor

Status: Hourly, Casual, Event-based

Summary:

The position requires an individual to have customer service skills, a positive attitude, food preparation skills, organizational skills to assist in preparing workspace for event day operations, responsibility for accuracy in all transactions, and to assist with location inventory controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
  • Provide great customer service.
  • Interact with customers and clients in a pleasant and professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic working knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money.
  • Basic food preparation.
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
  • Positive attitude and neat appearance.
  • Must be 16 or older.
    15-year-olds may apply with a copy of their Young Worker Readiness Certificate & written permission of parent/guardian

Skill and Abilities:

This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial standing, and walking.

Other Qualifications:

FOOD HANDLER CERTIFICATE SASKATCHEWAN Preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Will have contact with Food & Beverage Supervisors, co-workers, customers and clients, building personnel, and kitchen staff. Works mainly with the general public, clients, and kitchen staff, within the various concession, stand locations within SaskTel Centre during concerts, Blades & Rush games, and other events.
