Parking & Transportation
Know Before You Go
It’s our goal to provide you with an exceptional experience, from the moment that you arrive on our grounds until the time you leave. SaskTel Centre has created a parking and transportation plan designed to keep the traffic moving, make it easy to park and ensure all fans can make it safely into the facility. Here’s important information and tips about parking and transportation at SaskTel Centre to prepare you to have an enjoyable event.
There are over 4,000 parking spaces among four parking lots at SaskTel Centre used on an event day. Parking lots are open one (1) hour prior to an event. Tailgating is not permitted on SaskTel Centre property. SaskTel Centre is not responsible for and assumes no liability arising from accidents, fire, theft, damage to or loss of the vehicle or any other items while in or on SaskTel Centre property.
SaskTel Centre with support from City of Saskatoon Transportation division, has altered ingress routes for all large-scale events and Saskatchewan Rush games. To maximize traffic flow and reduce the amount of time fans wait to park:
- Apex Street converted to two east bound travel lanes beginning at the intersection of Apex Street and Thatcher Avenue.
- All southbound traffic turns left onto Apex Street and travel east, then south to 60th Street in two lanes of traffic.
- No stopping allowed on Apex Street immediately east of Thatcher Avenue.
- No parking on 60th Street immediately south of SaskTel Centre parking lot.
- From HWY 16, when parking Lot A and B are full, vehicles will be routed to Apex Street, to fill other parking lots.
- Use of Idylwyld Drive, Millar Ave, Wanuskewin Road or Chief Mistawasis bridge to Marquis Drive is strongly encouraged. Access via HWY 16 is not recommended for city traffic.
Rock Star parking is a paid, reserved parking lot adjacent to the main entrance. Limited spaces are avaliable for most events.
Rock Star parking can be purchased for select events here.
To access the Rock Star parking lot for event and luxury suite passholders:
- Use Bill Hunter Ave entrance only (between Husky/Esso & Tim Hortons)
- Present pass to attendant. For passes on a mobile device, present QR code.
- For luxury suite passholders, hangtag must be on rearview mirror.
- Luxury suite passholders without a pass will not be granted access to the Rock Star parking lot and will be redirected to general parking.

Ride-Share and Passenger vehicles drop-off/pick-up are different from a taxi. These vehicles pick up specific people which means they have to park in an area where they are not blocking a drive-thru area. A taxi; however, takes the first person out the door that requires a taxicab and does not sit waiting for passengers to come out.
Ride Share/Passenger Drop-Offs
- Use Thatcher Ave (behind Costco) and watch for signage.
- Follow the directions given by Saskatoon Police Service and/or SaskTel Centre parking attendants.
- Use the designated area for drop-offs. It is easy access with close proximity to entrances. The closest entrance will get you to Section K on the main concourse.
Ride Share/ Passenger Pick-Ups
- For mid-large size events, arrive at least 15 minutes before event end time. It is important to note that once the event is over, incoming traffic is slowed or stopped completely for periods to time to allow for outgoing traffic.
- Use the designated location provided, it is the easiest and fastest.
- Use Thatcher Ave (behind Costco).
- Follow instructions and directions of SaskTel Centre parking attendants.
